This Web Site offers documentation on Custom Software Modules, which are available to customers running DATAFLO5.4G and above. This documentation, in far more detail, can be provided either by a DAT 4mm tape, or Wintegrate Bridge on a phone line modem, or to an IP address. A Menu ABT-Z-00 is provided which displays the documentation, topic by topic, and can copy selected documents to your printer as handouts. Each Custom Module has the usual on-screen helps for data-entry fields, and for each Process on the Menu. These documentation writeups provide more of an overview of what each Module is designed to accomplish, the operational sequence, and other common questions. Also included with the DAT tape, or transmission, are a number of helpful utilities for users and system administrators.
While the usual baseline documentation does a good job of explaining the various Processes, Data-Entries, Reports and Prompt Helps, I chose to add an additional layer of documentation providing the real-world logic about utilizing my Custom Modules. I also think it wise to continue to offer the "second level" helps in the conventional text format, as well as HTML, as many sites continue to use terminals in the warehouse, as they are less expensive than PC's, and more rugged, and have been in use for years. These users typically do not need a graphical interface, and prefer keyboard to mouse entry.
