(MMI-Z1-00) USAGE AGING ANALYSIS

USAGE AGING is a process whereby an average month's USAGE is determined, either by looking at prior USAGE, or (preferably), from MRP demand. The reports provide Inventory Dollars in period columns (0-6, 7-12, 13-24, Over-24 months). The Z_USAGE file contains up to 4 years' data in monthly buckets.

These reports are of value to Accounting to assist in isolating Obsolete Inventory in terms of Months on Hand, in Dollars, within the periods noted above.

This data can be utilized, along with forward MRP demand, to judge Demand spikes, and other requirements patterns.
