View Custom Documentation: 3. About MRP Priority Report Flags

OPTION (3) Modifications to Baseline - None                                   GRAPHIC EXAMPLE

This memorandum discusses the concept of prioritization of MRP Parts, to allow Buyers / Planners to focus on those items which are denoted as the most immediate to react to.
A User-Maintained Table allows each customer to consider different "cutoff" time fences, and to maintain values to indicate what is most urgent to react to. The user can also create their own "Alert Flags". Reports are provided to detail which MRP items are at variance to the individual Alert Flag Cutoff Value, and the user-maintained Cutoff Dollar Value, per Alert Flag.
In the example below, Time Fence ONE (priority) covers the first 3 MRP Weekly buckets, plus Past Due. Time Fence TWO also includes the next 10 MRP Weekly buckets, for a total of 13 periods.

This is a list of MRP "Alert" conditions, as provided:
AA = Negative Dollars prior to First Scheduled Receipt
BA = De-Expedite Dollars for Fence ONE
BB = De-Expedite Dollars for Fence TWO
CA = Expedite Dollars for Fence ONE
